The heart behind the name Prism & Co. Publishing™ is rooted in hope, family, and the belief that every life holds a beauty all its own. After my sister Chantell passed away, rainbows became a symbol of hope for our family. A prism takes a single beam of light and reveals the beauty of its many colors, reminding us that one light can shine in countless ways. The name also honors the PRISMS community, which supported families like ours navigating life with Smith-Magenis syndrome. To me, Prism represents the beauty of our differences, the value of every life, and the many ways we can bring light into the world. Through every story I share and everything I create, I hope to honor Chantell’s legacy and remind others that we are each made with purpose, and one life can shine in more ways than we may ever know.

We believe disability inclusion begins with understanding, representation, and recognizing the value of every individual.
